Professor Ho-fung Leung is currently a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering and the Director of MSc Programme in Computer Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He leads theoretical and applied research in intelligent agents, multiagent systems, game theory, semantic web/ontologies and evolutionary computing.
Professor Leung reviews for various major international journals and has served on the programme committees of many international conferences. He is currently a programme committee member of CEC’09, COMPLEX’2009, EDOC 2010, ICAART 2010, ICIW 2010, IIP2010, ICMLC 2009, InterCloud 2010, MBC 2009, PRIMA 2009 and SOKM’09, a co-chair of SIC2009, and a programme vice chair of CloudCom 2009.
Professor Leung was the chairperson of ACM (Hong Kong Chapter) in 1998. He is a Chartered Fellow of the BCS and a Senior Member of both the ACM and the IEEE. He is a Chartered Engineer registered by the ECUK and is awarded the designation of Chartered Scientist by the Science Council, UK.
Professor Leung received his BSc and MPhil degrees in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and his PhD degree and DIC (Diploma of Imperial College) in Computing from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.
